The WFWP has grown and supports a network of national and worldwide chapters, which adhere to the principle of women working together and taking initiative to empower one another across the traditional barriers of race, culture and religion, to create healthy families, and to resolve the complex problems facing our society and the world today.

Ultimately solutions come as true and healthy partnerships between men and women are established on all levels of society.  The beginning point is within society’s most elementary level – the family.  A wise person said that “the family is the school of love”.

Therefore the WFWP seeks to provide women, worldwide with the knowledge, tools and support needed to create peace at home, in our communities, nations and in our world.

WFWP UK is a non-profit organisation, open to all people regardless of race, nationality, religion or educational background.

In 1997, WFWP International was granted NGO General Consultative status (Category 1), in the United Nations.  Later, in recognition of its aims and of the achievement of its numerous projects around the world, its status was renewed with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) until 2008.
