Twelve Chinese women from the All China Women’s Federation

in a research trip to the UK, visited Women’s Federation for World Peace HQ in London, on 22nd of September 2009, to hear a brief programme about roles and responsibilities, as well as practices in supporting women, to address their voices and enhance their influences
Having been first welcomed by Mrs. Dolores Read, there was a presentation introducing the work and activities of the WFWP by Mrs. Tina Coombs. This gave to our delegates an opportunity to find answers to all their questions.
President Huang Hong from the delegation gave a congratulatory address for the work and success of WFWP in the UK.
Introductions by the participants of the delegation took place. Each one came from different parts of China and explained their particular area of work.
The delegates were very happy and said that they felt very much at home.
At the end of the meeting, name cards were exchanged and President Huang Hong presented beautiful gifts to WFWP. We all felt grateful and uplifted.
