Artists for Peace
Vision: To honour, recognize, and celebrate children's artistic contributions and promote art as a medium for self-expression and healing.
The Women's Federation for World Peace UK annually hosts the "Artists for Peace": art contest
for children across the United Kingdom.
Aimed at promoting family-oriented activities, the contest invites children aged 5 to 15 to
explore creative solutions through traditional art mediums.
The theme is chosen by the children themselves, encouraging them to express messages of peace
and wellbeing.
Calendars are produced at the end of the competition every year featuring children's artwork,
which are sold to raise funds and promote the project. The publicity generated through these calendars
helps increase awareness and support for the initiative.

This project is a wonderful initiative to celebrate and nurture young artistic talents while fostering a
sense of community and promoting healing through creativity. It not only honours children's
contributions but also provides them with opportunities to express their dreams and ideas in a
supportive environment.
The Womem's Federation for World Peace International, a non-profit, non-governmental organization
present in over 120 countries, spearheads this initiative. They aim to empower women with the tools and
support needed to foster peace at home, in communities, and worldwide.
